The cherry bathroom cabinetry I have been working on recently is nearing completion. I chose natural cherry with some wonderful character and knots for this bathroom. This lively wood really compliments the Lindal cedar home that is situated at the edge of Lake Michigan, a true northern Michigan paradise.
The hardware I used on the cabinetry allows the user to open and close the doors and drawers without any knobs or pulls. This allows the true beauty of the wood to show clearly. The user simply pushes on the drawer or door and it magically opens! This is also a really nice feature for anyone with challenges grasping small knobs or pulls.

This beautiful rosewood and cherry pencil box was recently completed and is available for purchase. The pencil box has a rosewood lid that holds four pens or pencils. The lid slides back and forth to reveal compartments for storing more pens and pencils, and divided compartments for small items. Cherry sides compliment the lid and have rosewood splines to strengthen the box and add interest. The ends on the lid are attached with bamboo pins. This box would be a wonderful gift and compliment any desk or table.

This desk was custom built for a client and made from solid cherry and inlaid with ebony. This desk was built to fit a particular place in the home. The client exclusively uses a notebook computer and wanted to put it out of the way when not in use. The desk also has two full size file drawers. Some of the cherry used was cut and dried by the client himself and it has some nice knots and character.

These are some beautiful walnut slabs that could be made into a special piece of furniture for you. We are currently working on flattening and finishing them. The color is beautiful with some really nice crotch figure and unique shapes.
